Jon told MassLive.com that he couldn’t discuss the specifics of the agreement but said that operational costs have significantly decreased with their new sponsor. In return, the team’s new favorite adult site is featured pretty prominently across their chests.

You have to commend Jon and his club for aiming high. It worked, after all. Now opposing teams can look at those jerseys and say, “What’s that sponsor? I don’t know what that is. Is that some sort of toothpaste?” We know you know.

After a short hiatus, a final send-off for senior football players is returning to Western Massachusetts.
More than 60 seniors are set to take place in the Western Mass. Senior Bowl next week, a newly-formed game created by the recently revived Western Mass. Football Coaches Association and the Western Mass. chapter of the National Football Foundation. The game will have two teams — “The Hills” opposing “The Valley” — and will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 23rd at South Hadley High School.
Wahconah’s Gary Campbell will coach the “Hills” team, while Westfield’s Rob Parent will coach “The Valley” squad. Rosters are listed below. For 13 years ranging from 2001 to 2013, seniors from Western Mass. participated in the annual Central-West Chowder Cup football game, facing seniors from the Central part of the state in a game that raised awareness for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. But the game folded after both sides could not come to an agreement on the game’s future and interest from both players and coaches decreased.
Massachusetts Football, Now, four years later, Western Mass. representatives hope a rejuvenated, localized approach will help get the reboot up and running. “This is something we’ve been trying to drive since I took over as the football chair,” said Longmeadow athletic director Michael Capotosto, who played a major role in helping bring the game back. “We had 10 to 15 coaches really buy in with the goal of honoring our senior players.” If all goes well this year, the coaches association hopes a partnership with the Shriners Hospital will return in 2018. It also hopes future versions of the event can implement clinics aimed at youth coaches and parents “to remind them that football is still safe” Capotosto said.
He also said they’re eyeing a way to possibly generate a scholarship fund for senior athletes that win awards at the National Football Foundation’s annual football banquet. For now, though, most involved are simply excited that a senior bowl has returned to Western Mass. Plans for the game were only finalized three weeks ago. When asked what he was most excited about, Capotosto chuckled and said “that it’s going to happen.” “There was some doubt we could pull it off on such short notice,” he said. Western Mass. Senior Bowl tickets will be sold at the gate. It will be $5 for adults and $3 for children, and South Hadley High School anticipates having concessions. Source Link
